Uptown Bay City residents begin moving into new condos with views ‘you can’t beat’

BAY CITY, MI — From his third floor condominium at Uptown Bay City, Wayne Neumeyer takes in a view of the Saginaw River and historic Bay City Hall and points out that at night he can look to the downtown business district and see the bright red sign of the Mill End Lofts building.
His weekend task, he explains, is to find patio furniture to make the view a little more comfortable.
“I was told I’m going to make about 30 friends pretty quickly,” Neumeyer said, standing on his expansive balcony that faces north. “You can’t beat this view. I can’t wait for ships to start going down the river and being able to take in everything that Bay City offers.”
